The son of Distorted Humor made every yard a winning one in the hands of Ian Mongan as the Cecil team followed up Born Tobouggie’s Listed win at Kempton with a second Easter triumph.

Sent off at odds of 85/40, he showed a willingness to get on with it throughout and when Gilded Age came to him in the closing strides, Warpedsenseofhumor found extra to score by a head.

Cecil’s other runner today was Alpha Tauri, who got collared inside the final furlong in a Warwick 7f maiden, finishing second in the end.
