Jacquline's Chester romp
JACQUELINE Quest had no problems in building on her Newbury second as she became the latest of trainer Henry Cecil's two-year-olds to score. Go Back

Less than 24 hours after Kings Bayonet had done the job at Wolverhampton, Jacqueline Quest landed the odds at Chester.

Well drawn in two for the 7f fillies' maiden, she won in the most straightforward of fashions for jockey Tom Queally.

Having taken a lead from Marie Cuddy, she was pulled out and asked to go on 2f from home.

The daughter of Rock Of Gibraltar cruised into the lead approaching the final furlong and ran on well to strike as a 2/7 shot should, by no less than nine lengths.
