Noseda team on double time
Go Back
JUST four days after trainer Jeremy Noseda registered an across-the-card treble, the Shalfleet string made their mark with a Yarmouth double this afternoon.

He's 'Awinner' again

Miss Frangipane and Awinnersgame were both on target to keep the yard's late summer flourish going.

Awinnersgame, gelded since his last run, notched his first win of the season when taking a 6f conditions race.

He won three times as a smart juvenile in 2009 and made the most of being dropped in grade.

After running in Group and Listed races earlier in the term, he was too good for his three rivals, scoring by a length and a quarter at odds of 6/5.

He was ridden by jockey Ryan Moore, who had earlier booted home Miss Frangipane in the 6f maiden.

The daughter of Acclamation had been in the first four on each of her previous four starts and landed the odds by a head to get off the mark.
