The son of Van Nistelrooy has recorded back-to-back victories at Doncaster and Newbury and will be looking for a third win in as little weeks.
Jeremy Noseda said: “The chances are Strike The Deal will take his place in the Diadem Stakes. Hopefully, Kieren Fallon will ride.
"The horse seems in great order and should get his preferred fast ground, so the plan is to give it a go.
“I have been delighted with his last two performances and think that a complete change of tactics - dropping him out - along with Kieren striking up a good relationship with him has meant that that the horse is running with a lot of confidence.
“We are hoping that Kieren will renew is association with him on Sunday and that he can cope with the step back up in class.”
