JEREMY NOSEDA is set to send a team to the Dubai International Racing Carnival for the first time since 2007.

Noseda - notable Dubai wins in the past |
The Shalfleet trainer will ship five horses to the desert at the end of this week ahead of the annual series of meetings, which this year will be staged at Meydan, starting on January 28.
Noseda has enjoyed plenty of success at past renewals of the Carnival.
The highlights have been provided by Vague who won the UAE 1000 Guineas, Stagelight - successful in the UAE 2000 Guineas - and Majors Cast, who racked up three straight triumphs in 2005.
Noseda's 2010 Dubai draft will be headed by Strike The Deal, twice a stakes winner last year.
It also includes last year's Royal Hunt Cup scorer Forgotten Voice and the progressive pair Leahurst and Stoic. Awinnersgame complete the quintet.
Noseda said: "Strike The Deal came back from the Breeders' Cup lame and had to have four easy weeks. His preparations since have slightly been hindered by the harsh weather.
"His programme will depend on how he trains in Dubai but we would like to consider a Group 3 sprint on February 11 ahead of one of the sprints on World Cup night.
"Forgotten Voice has been gelded and has taken a little bit longer to get over the operation than anticipated.
"The weather has also held his preparations up a little bit over the last three weeks.
"His programme is slightly up in the air at present and we will see how he settles and works in Dubai before deciding when he first runs out there."
Stoic and Leahurst look the ideal fit for the Carnival based on their progressive form in 2009.
Noseda added: "Leahurst will run, touch wood, on the opening night in a seven-furlong rated handicap on Tapeta.
"He is in good order and I do feel he has the ideal profile for a Carnival contender.
"Stoic has been gelded since completing his three-timer. He is fit and well with his preparations having gone to plan. He is scheduled to run in a mile rated handicap on Februrary 4.
"Once again, I feel he has the right profile for what you need for a Carnival horse."
Awinnersgame, a winner at both two and three, is set to be campaigned up to seven furlongs.
Noseda said: "He is ready to go and will run in a seven-furlong rated handicap on either February 4 or 5.
"He was possibly a 'twilight' horse here in that he is not quite good enough at stakes level but still plenty high in the handicap. Hopefully the races in Dubai will suit him well because he will be running against horses with a similar profile."
Noseda's right-hand man Dave Bradley will once again be accompanying the Shafleet horses.
Dave has vast experience of the Carnival, having overseen the majority of Noseda's runners there in the past.
