The son of Van Nistelrooy was last seen in the Breeders’ Cup where he finished down the field in the Turf Sprint.
However, connections are hopeful that he can bounce back from that effort as his preparation for that contest was far from ideal.
Prior to that run Strike The Deal had flourished in the masterful hands of Kieren Fallon and had landed two races on the bounce including a Group 3 at Newbury.
Trainer Jeremy Noseda said: “I feel that Strike The Deal may need this first race to put him in tip top shape.
“The main aim is to get him into one of the sprints on World Cup night. He has an average draw - 11 of 11.”
