Options for Forgotten Voice
Go Back
TRAINER Jeremy Noseda this morning discussed future plans for his recent runners at the Dubai International Racing Carnival.

Paul and Susan Roy’s Forgotten Voice put up a fine effort to finish second in a Group 3 on the opening night two weeks ago and Noseda is pleased with how the son of Danehill Dancer has come out of his race.

He said: “He has taken his race well but I don’t want to run him back too quickly.

"He will next be seen on March 4 where he will contest a Group 3 on the Tapeta over a mile or a Group 2 on the turf over nine furlongs.”

In the same ownership, Leahurst got his Dubai campaign off to the best possible start when he took the 7f handicap on opening night in impressive fashion.

Noseda said of the son of Verglas: “The plan for Leahurst is for him to run next week where he will have the option of two races at either six or seven furlongs.”

Stoic was unlucky not to add to Shalfleet’s impressive overall total of 12 Dubai wins when he was a fast-finishing second over 7f last week.

The son of Green Desert was closing fast under Ryan Moore but the line came a bit too soon and he had to settle for second.

Noseda reflected: “We were unfortunate not to get in the mile race so we had to settle for the seven furlong contest.

"Stoic didn’t get much luck in running and a combination of trip and draw seriously compromised his chance.

“We are hopeful that he will get into the mile race on February 18 which is the target.”

Awinnersgame could also been seen on that datewith a 7f contest on February 18 or 19 could be on his agenda.
