Go Back

PETER CHAPPLE-Hyam has a band of horses for the all-weather this spring and several of them were in action on the Al Bahathri earlier today.

Bomber Brown, a son of Pyrus, prepared for his Saturday debut at Lingfield with a spin over 7f on the polytrack.

He had experienced groom Dave Goodwin aboard as he matched strides with Signella (Lizzie Cairns).

Orientalist Art (Ronan Meehan), stakes placed as a three-year-old, just enjoyed an easy piece in company with Thousand Words (PJ O'Gorman).

The lightly-raced son of Green Desert should hopefully be an intriguing four-year-old prospect and he has been given an entry in the Lincoln by connections.

Capefly is a relative newcomer to the yard and bids to break her maiden in a handicap at Great Leighs on Thursday.

Chapple-Hyam put the final touches to her preparation as she went solo under Sally Wall.

Other running plans: Thief Of Time, a son of Clodovil, heads to Kempton for his racecourse bow tomorrow night.

Chapple-Hyam said: “We’ve got a few to run on the all-weather over the next couple of months or so and we’re aiming to put a couple or three winners on the board ahead of the Turf season.”

His first runner of the year, Avoir Choisi, came second in a Kempton maiden last Saturday.
