Arabian Pearl on the mark at Beverley

PETER CHAPPLE-Hyam banged in another winner last night as his purple patch continued with a success at Beverley.

Arabian Pearl made it seven winners from the trainer’s last 18 runners with an ultimately convincing victory in the 1m fillies’ maiden.

The daughter of Refuse To Bend has improved with every run this season and she made light work of beating her eight rivals, two and three quarter lengths.

The 2/1 favourite was in touch under jockey Alan Munro and edged closer to the leader Izzi Mill at the two-pole.

Munro didn’t really need to get too busy on Arabian Pearl as she moved up to lead approaching the final furlong before striding out to score in good style.

It was Chapple-Hyam’s fourth winner since last Friday with Open Sesame, Exceptional Art and Palacefield also registering victories.
