All of the daughter of Gulch's victories have come at the seaside track.

She did the job well today under regular rider Jack Mitchell at odds of 11/10.

He settled her just off the leaders in a slowly-run race. When they entered the straight Mitchell had her in a perfect position to strike just along side the pace-setters.

A furlong from the finish he still had plenty of horse beneath him and when he pressed the button she quickened up nicely to score by a length and a half to keep the wins tally ticking over for trainer Peter Chapple-Hyam and his team.
