BRAVE Prospector bounced back to top form when winning a 6f handicap at Doncaster this afternoon.

The Oasis Dream colt was rushed off his feet over 5f at York last month but appreciated the step back up in trip.

He travelled towards the fore for Jamie Spencer and assumed control entering the final furlong.

Spencer had to keep him up to his work in the final strides but Brave Prospector was always going to hold.

The 16/1 success was the four-year-old's first of the season and third of hsi career.

In other news, Morana - a son of Alhaarth - gave an encouraging debut display as he finished second to an odds-on shot in a 1m maiden at Sandown.
