The Kheleyf colt had two and a half lengths in hand as he delivered a satisfying success in Ascot's Group 2 feature.
Chapple-Hyam said: "Sayif really deserved to win a race like that. He'd come so close in top races before, so it is great that he managed to get his just rewards - and he did it so well, which made it even more satisfying.
"The fast ground was ideal for him and as we are unlikely to get a similar surface for him again in October we'll put him away now until next year.
"He'll be campaigned in the top sprints in 2010 and I'm sure he'll be competitive as he is a horse with a lot of class - and always has been."
