The two-year-olds meet Long Hill
Go Back
THE Chapple-Hyam two-year-olds visited Long Hill this morning for the first time.

It's a longer polytrack canter than the group have been experiencing on the adjacent Warren Hill, but they all seemed to take it in their stride.

There was even a 'loose one' from another string that may have thrown a spanner into the St Gatien works, but thankfully nothing untoward unfolded.

Indeed, the group - there was about 15 in the exercise - look to be progressing nicely.

Peter said: "They are doing everything right at the moment and this was just about building things up a notch.

"With the gradual incline, the key is for the horses to take it nice and steady. All the lads seemed happy as they came back down, so it went well."
